Silver medal in distance for Marat at the 5th FAI World Cup of Canopy Piloting

Marat Leiras earned a Silver medal in distance, where he also posted the third longest swoop registered so far 173.84m , against the new world record 181.70m from Nicholas Batsch. Finishing in 12th place overal, this year calendar ends with the most consistent in results we had so far, promising a great 2010 season. Marat Leiras is the US 2009 National Champion

Rosharon, TX at Skydiving Spaceland was the skydiving capitol during the 2009 USPA skydiving championship. Bronze medal for Marat at the World Games in Taiwan

Being the only brazilian representative in parachuting at the world games, Marat Leiras showed a great reaction and jumped from 5th place to get a bronze medal overal on the last round.

The world games involves all sports which are not included on the olimpic games.
